Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and Pathie ("we", "us"), a brand operated by Berkay Berkman as a sole proprietorship based in Istanbul, Türkiye, for the Pathie app. By using Pathie you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
Who can use Pathie
You must be at least 16. If you use Pathie for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what that removes.
Your content
Your routes, Stamps, photos and comments remain yours. You give us permission to store them and to display them inside Pathie so the app can work — and, for anything you choose to publish, to show it to other people in the app. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
Only upload things you have the right to upload, and do not publish anything unlawful, hateful, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights or privacy. We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach this.
Routes are suggestions, not advice
Pathie generates itineraries automatically and draws on third-party data for opening hours, locations, prices and ratings. Any of it can be wrong or out of date. Check anything that matters — opening times, access, safety, border and visa requirements, and the suitability of a route for you — before relying on it. Pathie is a planning aid, not travel, safety, medical or legal advice.
Subscriptions
Pathie offers a free tier and an optional paid subscription, Pathie Premium, available monthly or annually.
- Payment is taken by Apple through your App Store account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending, at the price shown for the plan you chose.
- Manage or cancel it in your device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency, and can change — we will tell you first, and a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms; we cannot issue them directly.
Changes to the app
We improve Pathie continuously, which means features can change or be withdrawn. If we withdraw something material from the paid tier we will tell subscribers.
Ending this agreement
You can stop using Pathie and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we must do so by law. An active subscription you have already paid for is not forfeited by a closure that is not your fault.
Liability
Pathie is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on automatically generated or third-party information. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and disputes belong to the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan). If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
